Join us on Saturday December 5th for a virtual workshop with Stephen Fan on Mapping Street Life in Chinatown.

In this 90-minute workshop, we will look at various forms of mapping, and what the purposes of this different types of maps are. Participants will share their own photos, drawings, and/or stories of the street life they have observed in Chinatown.

All observations will contribute to the content of a illustrated map that celebrates and documents this wonderful corner of Manhattan.

This workshop is part of a two-part series, with a follow up program on January 21st. Participants will get the most out of the program by attending both workshops, but can still participate if they can only attend one. Participants who attend both workshops will be given a gift card to a local restaurant or shop as a thank you.

This workshop is open to anyone who spends time in Manhattan’s Chinatown, whether you live there, work there, shop there, grew up there, or visit.
