Join us on Tuesday May 26th for the launch of Walking Tibbetts, an interactive walk through the Tibbetts Brook Estuary. Artist Matthew Jensen leads us through the landscape with a series of video essays, accompanied by insights from ecologist Eric Sanderson and NYC Department of Environmental Protection’s Pinar Balci and Tolga Yilmaz.

In Tuesday’s conversation, Robert Fanuzzi, Historian, and President of the Bronx Council for Environmental Quality, will moderate a conversation between Jensen and Sanderson. This dialogue will reflect on the landscape covered in the virtual walk, the history of this estuary, and it’s potential revival through projects that could restore wetlands area in the neighborhood, including the daylighting of Tibbetts Brook.
