Kate Orff, landscape architect is the Founder of SCAPE. Kate focuses on retooling the practice of landscape architecture relative to uncertainty of climate change and fostering social life which she has explored through publications, activism, research, and projects. She is known for leading complex, creative, and collaborative work processes that advance broad environmental and social prerogatives. Kate was awarded the MacArthur Foundation ‘Genius’ Grant in 2017, the first given in the field of Landscape Architecture.

Cynthia Rosenzweig, agronomist and climatologist at NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, located at Columbia University.  She who helped pioneer the study of climate change and agriculture. She has over 300 publications and has authored or edited eight books. She has also served in many different organizations working to develop plans to manage climate change, at the global level with theIntergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) as well as in New York City after Hurricane Sandy.

Mary Miss, founder of CALL/City as Living Laboratory, has reshaped the boundaries between sculpture, architecture, landscape design, and installation, articulating a vision of the public sphere where artists address the issues of our time to help create communities of sustenance.
